Designed the GUESS Kids Fall 2015 Catalog.
The process of creating a catalog is a very long and complicated. Once the campaign images are shot, chosen and edited, all with the approval from the Creative Director: Paul Marciano, I lay out the chosen campaign images that seem the best fit with each other.
Once I get a general feel of the layout, I look at the style and mood of the images: My heart melted when I got to look through these photos. Not only were the kid models too adorable but the background setting with the all-american 80's diner theme made the sweetest touch. The theme of the photoshoot inspired me to create the illustrations and graphics related to the 80s, including neon signage.
I have multiple meetings with the Creative Director to get the approval of drafts that I create and once I get the ok from both the Creative Director and my Department Heads, it's off to the printing press. From there, I work with the printers (whoever we quote with) and we make sure that the color tones of the prints are at it's best quality.
We printed 15,000 copies of the catalog that are not only distributed internally at the headquarters of GUESS but throughout all of the Guess Kids stores in the U.S and Europe.
