Talentoday has a medium blog where I update the banner header. I design the header by relating it to the article content.
I work very closely with the US Marketing Manager. She works with the writer who writes the Talentoday article content and let's me know the main topic. From there we brainstorm what kind of style fits best for the article, whether we use photography, patterns, iconography. Here we used both photography and iconography.
The article talks about diversity, so we thought it would be a fun idea to relate the diversity into different animals of the safari. The reason behind that is due to the Talentoday Logo. As you would say our 'mascot' is a lion so we thought we could bring it further by introducing other safari animals to represent diversity.
These banners were a fun and creative way to show the branding of Talentoday. A banner thumbnail is the first thing the user sees and it's something that should be eye-catching to link more people to the actual articles.
